Today I am coming to with some small brand support to get us over the weeks hump. If your following me on social media you would have seen my post on this weeks Lippie Wednesday feature. I want to start buy saying I found this brand through @limecrimelies on Instagram, with all the scandal & controversy surrounding Lime Crime I am choosing not to support them. I further more back that up by saying I have a friend who was affected by the breach in Lime Crime's security.
Now with that said I have been wanting two of the Lime Crime Velevetines Cashmere & Riot, both colors I coveted before everything happened. I was thrilled when @limecrimelies shouted out Etsy Give Me Glow for having made a dupe of Cashmere! How exciting to be able to get a lipstick I really wanted without the worry & hassle. Kinks I love buying from Indie & small brands, so I did not hesitate to order myself one & a highlighter.
Since receiving this lip cream Deja Vu I have worn it few times, so I can give my honest opinion & I really like this formula. The color is an exact dupe for Cashmere but I personally believe its better for you lips because it is hydrating. I get about 6 hours of wear before having to touch up with eating and drinking. One thing I really love about this product is you don't have to do a whole reapplication, just touching up fixes your lipstick. Fading starts usually in the center of the lip but it does leave a beautiful stain.
Deja Vu is a mix of grey and beige. On me, it does look like a greige with the tiniest amount of pink.
Kinks if you were looking to by Cashmere but didn't for whatever reason I would head over to Etsy Deja Vu right now & get it. If you are just looking for a beautiful color I would go pick up Deja Vu. Etsy Give Me Glow has lip sticks, lip creams, lip glosses, highlighters, glitters and custom orders.
What do you think of Etsy Give Me Glow's dupe of Deja Vu?
