The Turbie Twist - Yay Or Nay?

1/30/2015

Picture
Hello Kinks!

I want to take a break from my whirl wind makeup addiction and talk about this nifty thing called the Turbie Twist! As for as life changing products go this baby changed my after shower hair routine. Before I was given one of these in my Dekem Dekem subscription box I would use t-shirts to dry my hair. Yes this was a perfectly acceptable until well i tried the Turbie Twist.

What They Claim?
The Turbie Twist claims that it is super absorbent, that it stays in place without coming undone, is lightweight, and can replace your ordinary bath towel for the task of forming a turban on your head. By using this they say you can expect to spend less time blow drying your hair which will keep it healthier.
Picture
You can purchase the Turbie Twist at Bed Bath & beyond stores or online HERE .
There are more expensive versions of the Turbie Twist for example the Aquis that sells for $18, but with this you get tow for $10. The design is pretty simple its oval shaped, and its even easier to use just twist the towel with your hair inside, and then loop the towel through the attached elastic band in the back to keep it in place. The makers of Turbie Twist say that it works for both long and short hair, who doesn't love one size fits all?

Turbie Twist is really light weight & comfortable to wear, I find myself reaching for it even when I haven't washed my hair. Someday's I sit with it on my head while I do my makeup in front of my vanity. It's the perfect fix to getting your hair out of your face while you do your makeup. This bad boy kinda makes me look like the fortune teller in Coney Island, you've got to see me bumping to Girls Just Want To have Fun dancing like something out of an 80's movie in this thing.

Now as far as absorbency...All I have to do is leave this bad boy on & my curly hair is the perfect level of dry. As a curly haired woman I cant do my hair when it's completely dry unless I want to slice my fingers on the strands of my hair. The biggest difference I noticed in my hair in the 2 months I have been using it is much less frizz & no strands of hair on my towel after I'm done with it.

If you get the chance to purchase this product I would Kinks! This product is worth the $10 you pay for it, you get two for that price so you always have one clean.

This product gets 4 Kinks.
Picture
Have you Kinks tried the Turbie Twist? I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Lippie Wednesday #12 -  Guide To MAC Finishes

1/28/2015

Picture
Hola Kinks!

Its Lippie Wednesday I found something different that I wanted to talk about, since my addiction to makeup started I have loved me a beautiful lipstick. Pinks, reds, mauve's and irresistible brown hues!

During my teenage years I slathered on glitter lip glosses and eyeliner, no mascara and not much else. Every woman should remember the first MAC lipstick they brought. For me it was MAC's Midimauve, a rosey mauve with peal and a Lustre finish. Boy did I wear the hell out of that lipstick as I came to learn & love all things beauty.

That sweet smell of vanilla that blows away the traditional chemical smell of some lipsticks. I adore the fact that MAC lipsticks have no taste so I can enjoy a meal with no funny taste. Thanks to Midimauve I am a MAC girl. I will admit if you don't speak makeup it can be hard to know what lipstick to choose. Did you know MAC has 12 finishes?

Yes I said 13.. . Today's post will be to help guide you through the different types of MAC lipsticks, and the many finishes. I hope this helps you Kinks!
Picture
Picture
Picture
MATTE: MAC matte lipsticks are drying on the lips and they are the most long wearing of all the finishes. These lipsticks give the most opaque coverage to your lips that lasts 8 to 10 hours. As the name suggests these lipsticks have no shimmer or sheen to them. I love to wear this finish on my nights out when I don't want to have to constantly reapply.
  • Well Known Shades: Candy Yum-Yum, Russian Red, Heroine, Velvet Teddy
  • End Notes: Long-wearing, opaque coverage, can be drying

RETRO MATTE: Very similar to the matte shades only WAY more drying. These tend to tug on the lips as you apply them. Grab the lip scrub before & after. Oh, please don't forget the lip primer or chapstick. With that said I adore the vivid colors in this finish.
  • Well Known Shades: Ruby Woo, Relentlessly Red
  • End Notes: Long Wearing, opaque coverage, very drying

SATIN: This is my absolute favorite finish! Satin lipsticks are kind of like the matte lipsticks only with a little bite of sheen to them. This finish still gives an opaque covering to your lips that fades into a beautiful stain after about 6 to 8 hours of wear.
  • Well Known Shades: Rebel, Brave, Twig, Snob
  • End Notes: Long wearing, opaque coverage

Amplified: These lipsticks give opaque coverage similar to the Matte formula. Amplified lipsticks are much less drying. I don't love that these lipsticks only last about 3 to 4 hours of wear they are very smooth on the lips. Keep this baby handy if your going out.
  • Well Known Shade: Viottetta
  • End Notes: Opaque coverage, not as drying as Matte

Amplified Creme: .They are creamy, beautifully pigmented, & have a glossy finish. Because of the glossiness, you can only get about 2 or 3 hours of wear time. Amplified Creme lipsticks have a tendency to feather. I would suggest a clear lip liner, I use my Urban Decay Ozone. These lipsticks aren't hydrating but they don't dry your lips either.
  • Well Known Shades: Impassioned, Girl About Town, Blankety.
  • End Notes: Creamy, pigmented, glossy

Cremesheen:  This particular finish is very creamy, with a gloss-like shine. Cremesheen does have very little wear time maxing out at 2 hours. Due to the glossiness of this finish they are not as pigmented as the other finishes mentioned. On a positive note although they are not long wearing these do tend to be a more hydrating finish. Cremesheen has a lot of neutral colors, from what I have read this is one of MAC's most popular finishes.
  • Well Known Shades: Shy Girl, Crème d’ Nude, Crème Cup, Lickable.
  • End Notes: Creamy, decent pigmentation, glossy, not long wearing

Cremesheen Pearl: As you would guess from the name the formula for these is the same as Cremesheen, but with a bit of frostiness. They feel very similar to the Cremesheen on the lips.
  • Well Known Shade: Coral Bliss
  • Bottom line: Creamy, frosted, decent pigmentation, glossy, not long wearing

Lustre: This formula gives pretty sheer coverage, with a sheen. Lustre lipsticks have a pretty glossy finish, so they are not the most long-wearing. You can maybe get about an hour or 2 out of them before having to reapply.
  • Well Known Shades:Syrup, Hug Me, Patisserie
  • Bottom line: Glossy, sheer, not long wearing

Frost: Talk about shimmery! I think that you have to swatch Frost lipsticks in store, some are way to shimmery for my blood but others are beautiful. I find wear-time is a bit better than the Lustre, at about a solid 2 hours. Frost finish is slightly glossy, and they provide pretty good coverage.
  • Well Known Shades: Angel, Costa Chic, Crème de la Femme
  • End Notes: Shimmery, decent coverage, not long wearing

Glaze: In my opinion the sheerest MAC lipstick formula, they most natural finish, while looking glossy. These lipsticks do not last long, probably around an hour and a half sometimes less if your eating.
  •  Well Known Shades: Hue, Pervette
  • End Notes: Sheer, glossy, very wearable coverage, not long wearing

Pro Longwear Lipcreme: MAC states that this lipstick will last for 12 hours. These last 8 hours with minimal fading & no feathering. These lipsticks are long-wearing but not drying like the Matte formula. They tend to be a bit drying but not in a way that makes them uncomfortable on the lips. Pro Longwear Lipcreme don't have glossy finish, but are also not completely matte more like a creamy matte.
  • End Notes: Long-lasting, semi-matte, slightly drying

Sheen Supreme: These are kind of a hybrid lip gloss/lipstick. The color pay-off is more like a lipstick, but are very glossy like a gloss. You can get get about 3 hours wear time out of these lipsticks. Lighter shades tend to settle into lip lines and have less wear time. The Sheen Supremes are super comfortable on the lips and moisturizing.
  • End Notes: Glossy, moisturizing, okay color pay off

Mineralize Rich: The Mineralize Rich line boasts a formula comprised of 77 different minerals. These are very rich & creamy lipstick formula, even creamier than the Cremesheen formula. These are very opaque but with a slight sheen. These are very comfortable to wear with about 3 hours wear time. These are more expensive than the regular MAC lipsticks at $22 a piece but I still own 2.
  • End Notes: Creamy, highly pigmented, glossy, pricey

Well Kinks that is my guide to MAC lipsticks! I hope you guys find it helpful, please feel free to add anything I missed below in the comment box. I think there might be more finishes but these are the ones I am most familiar with. My favorite MAC finishes are matte and satin, what are yours Kinks?

Drug Store Hauling # 2 - Milani Blush

1/26/2015

Picture
Hey Kinks!

Time for my second installment of drug store hauling! I have become so addicted to Miliani blushers currently I have 3 in my stash two baked blushed & one rose powder blush. Today I will be focusing on the baked blushes. What I love about Miliani blushed is the quality of their product for the price point. Each of the blushes I have are very pigmented and they have a buttery texture to them.

This is what Milani says about their baked blushes " This silky blush with benefits can be used so many ways. It shapes, it contours, it highlights. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, it’s buildable from sheer to vibrant. Yes, it adds a cheeky pop of colour to your complexion. Radiance and warmth, too."

Let's start with the packaging, which looks really nice I am a sucker for gold packaging! It's gold with a transparent lid that honestly feels a little cheaply made. I do find it cute that underneath the blush comes a mirror and a brush. Each blush comes with about 3.5 grams of product.
My first Milani Baked Blush was 05 Luminoso, It's a really soft glowing peachy color that make you GLOW! You can also use this as a highlighter. It just makes you look so healthy and sun kissed. I am heavy handed with blush I'll admit it but I've never looked like a clown with this blush no matter how much I apply. That being said Luminoso is my go to blush at the moment. From what I have read  this blush is  the closest "dupe" to the NARS Orgasm Blush you can buy at the drugstore. I don't have NARS Orgasm yet but its on my list, maybe I'll do a comparison post.
Picture
Picture
Picture
No you know how I said what I like about these Milani blushes is the price point? Imagine my excitement when I walk into my local Walgreens & one of the blushes is on sale from $8.99 to $4.29. With only one left I snatched it up without a second thought coveting it the entire way to the check out. I haven't told you Kinks this but I usually don't impulse by makeup I read reviews & research before my purchases. I try to avoid the craziness of buying a product and it sitting in my draw forever untouched.

My second Milani Baked Blush is 06 Bellissimo Bronze, is a peachy bronze golden blush. I would say that this works as a bronzer or a highlighter for darker skin tones. I cant say I reach for this one to often as a blush but it is my go to highlighter when I want a little umph in my makeup look for the day.
Pros:
  • Pigmentation
  • Gives you a healthy Glow
  • Very fine glitters in product
  • All the colors are really wearable and super gorgeous.
  • Affordable!
  • Gold packaging
Cons:
  • I find the brush they include to be cheap. I would rather loose the mirror & brush for travel friendly packaging

Kinks over all I do think that if your local drug store has one of these bad boys its worth the money. The pigmentation is great and the shimmer doesn't over power your face. You can get about 8 hours wear out of Milani baked blushes, what more could you want?
Tell me your experiences with Milani products, do you own any Milani baked blushes? I would love to hear your opinions. If you haven't brought any of these yet what are you excited to try?

New Glasses - Modo

1/23/2015

Hello Kinks,

I have to face a terrible fact... I am getting older & I need to start wearing readers.

I looked at a few brands before something really cool happened. I have an amazing friend who knows what I do & works for the company Modo.*  If you never heard of Modo before don't worry I had only heard of them through her but I have to admit I love what the brand and company is about. What's not to love about combing innovative designs, fashion friendly frames that are light weight and are completely affordable?

Watch my Youtube video reviewing the Paper Thin 2 optical frames (readers) and one pair of Paper Thin sunglasses I have by Modo.
You can be directed to the Modo site HERE .
You can subscribe to Kinky Curly Erica HERE .
As you can see from my video, there is a lot to love about Modo! From a variety of collections, to their charity work associated with the brands (Modo & ECO). If you go to the Modo website, you will see that they sell more than just their house-brand (Modo), but they also carry brands such as ECO, Derek Lam, Jason Wu and 7 for All Mankind. Each brand has their own style and you can find tons of frames under each designer collection.

I did mention that Modo has other charitable programs that are associated with two of their brands, Modo & Eco. Modo works with a foundation called Seva for a program called ‘Buy a Frame, Give a Frame’. With the help of distribution by the Seva Foundation; for every frame bought from the Modo collection, Modo donates a frame to help those in need.

ECO has a charitable program called ‘The Cameroon Project’. If you buy a frame from the ECO collection, you will aid in their "One Frame, One Tree" project. This is what Modo has to say about this particular program:
"ECO was “born recycled” in 2009, with the start of the program “One Frame One Tree” by partnering with NGO Trees for the Future. Since then, ECO donates and plants a tree for every frame sold. Today, ECO is approaching 1 million trees planted in Cameroon, Africa!
This is the Cameroon story. One that started with a seed: the idea of giving back to the world and improving lives. In 2012 we went to Cameroon to meet the people involved. We invite you to witness the impact “One Frame One Tree” continues to make on the environment and the Cameroon community."

The Modo brand frames are anywhere between$150 to $260 depending on the style, to visit their website click the link above or go to www.MODO.com.

Kinks if you’re looking for new glasses (optical or sun) I would look into this company, Modo was born in 1990 in SoHo, New York. Modo has evolved into a company that designs, manufactures and distributes a successful portfolio of house brands, designer brand and contemporary lifestyle brands – all under the common denominator of design and innovation.

Modo is a company that is globally recognized and has offices in New York, Milan and Stockholm.

What do you think of Modo Kinks? Feel free to tell me any of your thoughts concerning the company or if you've had any experience with the companys core bands.

As always Kinks... Stay Kinky, Stay Curly, Stay you.

*Please note that the products in this post were provided by MODO. With that said all thoughts & opinions are all my own, that's the only way to stay Kinky Curly Me. If you have any questions feel free to check my disclosure tab.

Lippie Wednesday #11 - Take Me Back To 1995

Hola Kinks!

Today I want to talk about my latest lipstick addiction, Gerard Cosmetics 1995! Haven't heard of it? Well it is probably the closest you'll get to recreating Kylie Jenner's signature look. It is bring back the 90's but in the best way no butterfly clips or over glittered eyelids.

Here is a little information about the Gerard Cosmetics Jaclyn Hill 1995 Lipstick from their website…"Get inspired by the neutral nudes of the 90s with Jaclyn Hill's signature lipstick, 1995. Inspired by the 90s grunge revival and the beauty trends of an unforgettable decade, this iconic creation is a matte but creamy lip color that isn't trendy but a timeless expression of glam"

This color of this lipstick is really beautiful and perfect for fall! I have seen it look super flattering on all skin tones. 1995 is extremely pigmented & glides easily on the lips. I always pair this baby with my MAC Whirl lip liner but you don't necessarily need it. You Kinks know I love my MAC Prep & Prime for lips but I don't need it with this lipstick. Also they have a weird reaction when used together that kind of makes the lipstick appear lumpy. While this lipstick does not dry your lips as much as say Candy Yum Yum by MAC it will have a slight drying affect. Honestly that's an easy fix though just make sure you exfoliate & I would suggest moisturizing your lips before applying this.

The wrap up:
  • Its a matte formula but not super drying on your lips
  • This lipstick lasts on the lips for 10 plus hours with eating and drinking
  • Instant color pay off! You really don’t need to apply loads to get a good finish.
  • Want that Kylie Jenner look? I would say this will give it to you. I tried some of the other color combos I had heard of this is the best I have seen.

This lipstick is Kinky Curly Me Approved... 4 out 4 Kinks for Gerard Cosmetics 1995!

Let's Get Naked 3

Hello Kinks!

How are you doing today? Me? I'm doing really well actually.

Today I want to talk about one of my many Christmas gifts, Urban Decay Naked 3. For those of you who don't know Urban Decay has released 3 full sized Naked palettes and 2 smaller Naked Basics palettes.

I have to admit, with in the last few months I have become so obsessed with doing my eye shadow. I feel like my face has been missing something & now well I found it. Who would have thought a little bit of color over my eyes, some black liner and well I feel like a model.

Back to the topic!

This is what Urban Decay has to say about their latest installment in their Naked Series:
"Experiment with 12 NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN (and insanely beautiful) rose-hued neutrals—from pale, shimmery pink to deep black matte with rosy red micro-glitter. It's finally here: the long-awaited follow-up Naked and Naked2 (two of the industry's all-time bestselling palettes)! And this time around, we're giving you a dozen NEW ways to get Naked."

Naked 2, Naked 3 comes with a synthetic dual-ended eyeshadow brush. It also comes with a sampling of 4 Primer Potions: Original, Eden (nude matte), Sin (shimmer), and Anti-Aging. The packaging is similar to Naked 2 which is very sturdy & snaps shut. The inside contains 12 all new eyeshadows 3 matte & 9 shimmers a space for the eyeshadow brush & a mirror.

Top row is with flash, bottom row without flash. You can purchase the Naked 3 palette HERE .
I know about a thousand people have gone over the shade descriptions individually, If you want to see that let me know & ill make a separate post for that.

For those of you who aren't experienced with Urban Decay Naked: Naked one is a warm toned neutrals palette featuring 2 mattes & a combination of 10 satin/shimmer shades. Urban Decay Naked 2 is a taupe neutrals palette featuring 3 mattes & a combination of 9 satin/shimmer shades.

Out of all the Nakeds this is obviously the pinker heavy palette, for me when thinking of which to ask for I automatically gravitated towards this one. I have heard very mixed reviews on this palette some people hate it & feel it isn't universally flattering. Others love it & think that it is the holy grail of the three. What is your opinion on it Kinks?

I had a few neutral palettes already & always seem to gravitate towards a pinker nude when I want a simple look. Each color in this palette is ridiculously pigmented, the mattes feel like butter & the satins/shimmers are super smooth. My favorites are Nooner and Mug Shot!

This palette does retail for $54.00 but I do think it is worth the price you pay for it. I reach for my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette at least 4 or 5 times a week since It was given to me. Each palette can be purchased from the Urban Decay website or from Sephora. Naked palettes houses 12 shadows, each containing .05oz of product coming to $90.00 per oz of eye shadow. If you compare each Urban Decay single eye shadow retails for $18USD, holds the same amount of product .50oz. If you purchase any of the Naked Palettes you are essentially getting 12 full size eye shadows for the price of 3 on their own.

What do you think of the Naked series Kinks? I would love to hear about you experiences & maybe see some looks you've made with any of these three gems.

Lippie Wednesday #10  - Office Appropriate Red?

1/14/2015

Hello Kinks,

On this Lippie Wednesday I have a question for you Kinks... Is there a office appropriate red lipstick?

This question tends to get mixed responses in my book. Some woman believe that red lipstick should be saved for date night with the boo or living it up on girls night. Other woman say screw it, I'll where what I want when I want throwing all caution to the wind. Personally I think its all about balance bold lip neutral eyes or a statement look with a pretty nude lipstick or lip gloss.

I am not a person who shy's away from makeup especially a bold look at me color that turns heads. Red lipstick is like a good pair of heels, it will either make you feel sexy or you'll wobble your way down the street. Take the first time I wore MAC's Viva Glam one I felt as glamorous as Coco Chanel herself. What I am saying here is that a red lipstick can be worn anytime if your confident enough to OWN IT!

Confidence is key with all makeup, you shouldn't be trying to hide you beauty but bring it to life.

Kinky Curly Me's Tips For Red Lips:

  • Know what looks good on you. There is no perfect red for every single person of every skin tone go for what brightens up your face, makes you look radiant and just a bit fresher.
  • Please don't pile on the makeup. Caked on makeup & a bold red lip tend to make you look older. When I am wearing red I try to go more casual every where else. I love to reach for my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette when I am wearing my reds.
  • Just because its red doesn't mean you have to go fully opaque. Honestly there are about 100 types of lipsticks out there keep your options open. Think about finishes when creating your look matte, satin, stain, shimmer gloss, tints, glazes. Each finish can really change the statement of your look.
  • Just because you are wearing red does not mean it has to be over sexed. Woman forget what a red lipstick can do for your face its a quick illumination trick brightening your eyes & making you appear youthful.
  • Be confident in your choice to put on red lipstick or any makeup for that matter.

Kinks remember red lipstick can come in lots of different tones from orange based to blue based, keep that in mind when your shopping. I found this fun guide on Pinterest if you need help picking the right shade of lipstick for yourself:

Is It All Hype? #1- Gerard Cosmetics Lip Gloss

1/12/2015

From Left to Right: Plum Crazy, Butter Cup, Cocoa Bean
Hello Kinks!

Hope your day is going well. Today I want to talk to you Kinks about a brand that I am fairly new to hearing about but has been all over YouTube & the bloggers circuit. Gerard Cosmetics formally known as Whiting Lighting.

You know I am excited to try something when I place 3 orders in 3 days from a single company. Maybe I like sales way to much but on the second day of super sale shopping I saw that Gerard cosmetics still had 30% if their online store with free shipping. As always my interest was peaked I watched a few YouTube videos & some how I ended up with a lip gloss! In my defense it was $16.80 from $24 and free shipping how could I resist?

I'm not much of a lip gloss woman but with the promise that wearing this lip gloss would make my teeth look whiter I figured why not?
In the time since I placed my first order I have built up a nice little collection of these lip glosses. Do I think they are all hype? No.. .

I am not a lip gloss person but I do find myself reaching for these at least twice a week! I love that these are so opaque when you apply them to your lips and don't feel very sticky. These lip glosses surprised my quite a bit I find that they are longer lasting than most of my other ones. I can get about four hours of wear out of them without eating and drinking. If I am eating or drinking I do find that I might need a touch up here & there. What I like most is that by the sixth hour the lip gloss is still there usually very faded but giving my lips just a pretty tint, in case your a lazy lip product applier.

Now for the bad... I don't see any difference in the color of my teeth even though the company does imply that these will make your teeth look "whiter". Also I do find that they are not very hydrating so I suggest a lip primer underneath & a good lip scrub when your taking your makeup off.
Picture
Picture
You can buy Gerard Cosmetics products HERE .
Okay Kinks over all I do think these lip glosses are worth the hype with one large draw back, the price. I paid $29 for a Dior lip gloss and that is a well known high end brand. I do find that they do often have coupon codes where you can get some kind of discount for Gerard Cosmetics lip glosses. The packaging on this product is super fun because each lip gloss comes with a mirror on the back & a light to help with applying.

If you haven't yet I think that it would be worth it to try these bad boys. Look out for sales and coupon codes on Gerard Cosmetics Facebook page & Instagram if your like me & love a good deal. Kinks tell me about your experience with Gerard cosmetics, if you haven't tried them what were you looking to try & if you have tell me what you think.

This is the second time Dekem sends me this product I still have the first bottle. Personally I can only use this when I straighten my hair it does nothing for my hair curly. This product will be given to a family member or used in a future giveaway. You can find this at your local Sally's Beauty Supply retailing for $3.99.
You can buy Naturals Weightless Repair Oil at Sally's Beauty Supply HERE .
  • Naturals Repairing Hair Masque - 1.75 oz (Sample Pack) - Naturals Repairing Hair Masque contains exotic oils and extracts that leave hair hydrated, soft and protected. The masque results in shiny, frizz free hair that looks and feels naturally healthy. Perfect for normal to thick hair.

I really like this product, again I have already received it in a previous box. I get about two uses from this sample pack so I can't complain about the value. Currently I own 3 of this product because I picked up a few since they worked so well. Again this is a great product that can be found at Sally's Beauty Supply for $2.99
Naturals Repairing Hair Mask can be found HERE .
  • African Shea Butter Cream - 0.8 oz - (Full Size!) - Pure Shea butter is coveted throughout Africa for its natural skin care benefits. Several great benefits of Shea butter are: Use as a shaving cream for a smooth silky shave, stretch mark prevention during pregnancy, fights the effects of aging, repairs rough damaged skin, treatment of dry skin, eczema, minor burns, pain relief from swelling and arthritis, improves muscle relaxation and stiffness, sunscreen, due to its rich content of vitamins E & F, Treats dark spots, skin discolorations, blemishes, diaper rash and as a hair conditioner.

I have seen these tubs a lot when I am downtown Brooklyn & my mother is always telling me how beneficial Shea Butter can be. I have such ashy elbows so this should really help keep them smooth. After reading all the additional benefits of this product I am thrilled to have received it. I couldn't find this on the Sally's Beauty Supply store but you can buy this off of Amazon for $5.45.
You can buy African Shea Butter Cream in different sizes on Amazon HERE .
  • Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil - Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil stimulates the scalp to replenish the moisture, shine and strength of your hair.
This is the one item I'm not sure what to do with... I know it is said to have amazing benifits for your skin & hair but o just cant see myself using it. I might use it in a give away or on my eyelashes from what I have heard it will help grow them out. You can buy Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil most places but I found it at Sally's Beauty Supply for $8.99.

Decembers Dekem Dekem Box was valued at about $30.50 which is a wonderful value since you only pay $22.95. Although this box is a toss up for me I am happy to have received some quality items!

With this post I also want to announce the winners of the Dekem Dekem sponsored giveaway. Congratulations to Brandy H. & Shey, I have already emailed them notifying them that they one. Thank you to everyone who entered and to Dekem Dekem for sponsoring me.
