How was your weekend? Mine was pretty awesome, I was able to attend the Sephora VIB Rouge Event where you got to meet the Too Faced Lipstick Mafia as well as the creator of Too Faced him self. Nothing like a evening of private shopping, makeovers & champagne to inspire a beauty blogger/beauty junkie right?
If you've been to the Sephora on 5th Avenue you know how beautiful the store is but it was even nicer decorated for the event. The walls decorated with colored lips, giant Melted Lipstick posters, stations to get makeovers set up all throughout the store & at top of the stairs a Lipstick Mafia poster set up for photos.
When you walked in you were greeted by Sephora Associates one gave you a cute lipstick shaped lollipops and a $25 gift card to spend on whatever you wanted in the store! My first stop was to get my makeup done by the talented Esteban Flores. Boy did that man do my makeup up, I swear with the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar, Selfie Palette & Melted Lipstick in Peony. He took my look from a beautiful day time look to something sexy & right for the glamorous event.
Oh my next up was meeting Jeremy Johnson who is one of the most approachable men I have met industry. He must have taken about 20 mins of his time talking to me & my mother. My mother was so star struck she even asked for his autograph! My mother has been a Too Faced fan longer than I have even been wearing makeup. We talked about some of the upcoming products from Too Faced like a palette for their new Love Flush 16 hour blushes in January. I was so excited to hear it! I just order 3 of the individual shades. Hmmm shall I wait for the rest?
Finally I got to spend a few minutes talking to Jerrod Blandino & telling him how much I love Too Faced Sunny Bunny Bronzer! Again he was super nice in person & so approachable.
This was my first Sephora VIB Rouge event like this & it far surpassed my expectations. The music was great, the champagne kept flowing & the shopping was so personalized. My mother, aunt, sister & I all where helped find things to suit our needs. I feel like this event was perfect for everyone even the beauty enthusiast who is new to our world. Take my sister, she got a makeover and actually purchased some Too Faced products.
