Today I am doing a feature on a product from a indie brand I was just introduced to through Instagram The Body Needs. Kinks we all know I love me some "labels" my beauty arsenal is made up of mostly MAC cosmetics,YSL Beauty throw in some Burberry & it might seem like I am a makeup snob. Honestly for me its not about brand but the product. Who doesn't love the idea of looking like a million bucks for less?
I want pigment, I want opaque coloring, I want something thats going to last as long as my day & I want it at a price any beauty junkie can afford.
The Body Needs is a small husband & wife team working to make high quality products for a reasonable price. Their line up includes blushes, eyeshadow, lip lusters all at a extremely affordable price. On their website you can find eyeshadows priced as low as $1.99 for a 5 gram to $3.79. Blushes $3.79 for a 10 gram jar to $4.79.
Not only are their products extremely affordable but the are cruelty-free, they also offer some vegan products as well. If that isn't enough for you Kinks all packaging from The Body Needs is recyclable. All these things won me over but wait till I tell you about the actual product.
Sinful is a beautiful peachy pink blush with a golden shimmer. On the days you wear this you can skip the highlighter because this bad boy will make you glow. I'm not talking glitter but that lit from with in, your first kiss blushing kind of glow. I have been stopped in the streets 3 times by strangers to ask what is on my cheeks. I've gotten comments on my Instagram inquiring about this beautiful blush.
I was never a fan of shimmery blushes but lately I'm putting down the mattes grabbing for something that gives me a little umpf. If your a fan of NARS Orgasm or MAC Cosmetics Mineralize blushes you have to try this. Sinful is the kind of blush in which a little goes a long way. You can definitely build the color up or play it down for that cute coy, almost like your not wearing blush.
I get up at 6 A. M. during the week by 7 I am adding the finishing touches to my face including blush. After testing this blush out I find I an wear my makeup 12 plus hours with out needing to reapply my blush. Another HUGE plus for me is this blush will not emphasize your pores.
